October 29, 2011Well ended up in the hospital Monday night and came home last night. My right leg was two times bigger than the other, was red and hot. I had a blister form on the back of my leg the size of a softball. Was on fluids, and iv antibiotics for 3days then pill form antibiotics to come home with. Man it kicked my rear bad!!! Home to recoup, bee out of work now for over a week won`t see it again till about next week sometime..

October 30, 2011Glad you are home, but sounds like you`ve had a pretty rough week. Take care of yourself and be careful that the infection doesn`t spread. Do they know what caused it?

October 31, 2011They didn`t say what caused it, but did say that it also flared up cellulitis in my leg. What ever that is. But wow! Today I was able to get pants on again instead of shorts, even though they are my baggy work pants. Now just a little worried about income for the rest of the time off. I used up all my sick days last week. Hmmm I will figure it out.
November 7, 2011cellulitis is what they said about me about 2 weeks ago when the left side of my of neck and face swelled. I got a bad infection in one of my teeth. It started to affect my air way and they flew me to Pittsburgh.
I am glad that you are home and getting better. Take it easy and take care of yourself.

Luckily we caught it when it was just about 3 inches in diameter on her leg
Had to spend 2 days in the hospital on IV antibiotics
We were real worried but the family DR said it was a very mild case
