1996 3500 V10 with a 47RE Trans:
The rubber sections of my trans cooler lines are looking a little old so I figured its time to change them out. I looked at aftermarket Plews Edelmann lines and they have different fittings at the trans. Instead of the quick connects on the trans, Edelmann lines are 1/2" flare. Has anyone used these lines and removed the quick connects out of the trans lines and used the fared fittings? I do not want to create a leak, but getting rid of those cheesy quick connects is probably a good thing.
