January 6, 2011I have a 2007 1500 Big Horn with the Hemi and it currantly has 34,600 miles. Recently I have noticed that when I put the truck in reverse to back out of my driveway, that it will pop out of gear. It has happened to me twice. A few times in my driveway which is reletivly flat, and once at the grocery store parking lot which has a slight incline. When it goes out of gear the gear selector does not designate a specific gear that it goes into. Once I shift it back to reverse it works fine. It has also done it to my wife several times.
Was there a 100,000 mile warranty on the transmission for the 2007 rams, or am I going to be paying out of pocket to get this looked at and fixed. When I purchased the truck a few months ago, they told me that there was a 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, and I want to make sure that it`s covered. The stealership we purchased the truck from is about an hour away so I`m hoping I can just run it to the one here in town. Thanks
