December 22, 2005While backing out down an incline and wheels turned to near extreme left or right, there is popping noise and movement in the steering. The entire front end feels like it moves towards the turn. Mostly coming from passenger side. The control arm bushings seem worn out. While the wheel is turned to the extreme, looking at the aft bushing, i can see the bolt. Should there be that much play in the bushings? Whould that cause the front end to move while backing out? I have a picture of the AFT bushing on the passenger side. The picture was taken while parked and wheel turned to extreme. It is in my gallery, if someone can post it that would be appreciated.
