July 7, 2014so i have a 1975 dodge powerwagon with a 318 in it. i have a new starter new hei , new carburater. and a new wiring harness.. i broke down last night and got a jump when the truck started it puttered and i have white smoke come out of the carburater. what i have found is it could be a blown head gasket. i would love the in put of everybody. from those who have more information on the older cars. please help

July 9, 2014Welcome to DTW! Sorry couldn`t tell you for sure with white smoke but does sound like you have a bad seal. Could be a carb adjustment issue too

July 10, 2014i the carb is bran new. took it to a shop to tune it in. so it runs liek it should in colorado. but im replaing the head gaskets seals to start. also gonna chagne the fuel filter. just to be in the safe side to.
