February 20, 2009Good stuff! Did you get rid of your old badges?
February 20, 2009So GOOF OFF uh... I wanna debadge my truck this spring, wasnt sure what to use. I will try it.
February 20, 2009Goo Gone works pretty good as well!
February 20, 2009i used wd 40 on a micro fiber towel, than you have to lightly wash and wax the area
February 22, 2009When you pull these badges off and after you remove the adhesive and wash and wax the area where they were, can you still see like a shadow of the emblems in the paint?
February 22, 2009I didn''t after I removed my Hemi emblems!
February 27, 2009I use 3m Adhesive Remover, it''s great as well
March 2, 2009I still have the badges. I left the LONGHORN EDITION on the doors, but absolutely everything else went. I had no shadow after they were off. I thought I would since it''s an ''05 and Maroon, but there''s no sign of a color difference at all.
March 2, 2009I''ve heard of Goo Gone but not Goof Off. Where can you pick that stuff up? I''m going to debadge my truck once the weather breaks. 12 inches of snow right now and it''s still coming.
March 6, 2009I picked it up at the local hardware store. Like I said it''s grafitti remover, but it worked beautifully.
March 16, 2009I have to say, Goof Off is AWESOME. I just debadged my truck and I tried to use Goo Gone but that stuff wouldn''t come off. My brother-in-law just picked up the Goof Off contract in our area and he gave me some samples. OMG that stuff took it right off with a little elbow grease. Once I was done, I have to polish the truck since I had some minor ghosting.
