April 13, 2007My rear window is leaking. It's a sliding rear window, but it's leaking from the top of the stationary drivers side. I've checked the seals and there doesn't appear to be any tears. Anyone know of any tips or tricks to get it to stop leaking?

April 13, 2007Same problem here except on the passenger side.
April 13, 2007Check the seals on the third brake light.
April 14, 2007If the seal looks ok, try putting a bead of silicone around the third brake light and reinstall the light.
Had the same prob with a truck at work and thats what the mech did. Worked great.
April 14, 200710-4, thanks for the tip. I'll check it out and let ya know if it works the next time it rains.
May 4, 2007After you try sealing it, have someone spray the area in question while you look for signs of the leak inside.
Just a thought.
May 6, 2007I had to replace my 3rd light bulbs the other day and not much of any type of seal to speak of. It was starting to rain when I did it....so I'll have to seal it with some silicone when I get a chance.
June 7, 2007Same problem here! Used some black silicone to match the black truck. Problem solved!
June 8, 2007I REPLACED THE CARGO LIGHT SEAL AND SO FAR SO GOOD.... NO LEAKS
THE SEAL WAS ONLY $8 AT THE DEALER....
